Welcome to Buffalo, Minnesota Pack 358!

Cub Scouting means "doing."
Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the scouts doing things.

Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Many of the activities happen right in the den and pack. The most important are the bi-weekly den meetings and the monthly pack meetings.

Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a scout's sense of belonging.

Join our pack anytime and see what fun and adventures await your scout!

Calling all volunteers!

One of the great benefits of volunteering is that parents get to interact with their children in a way that they wouldn't otherwise!  We have such a short time with our children before they grow up to begin their own lives, that is why Cub Scouting is a family event.  It is run by volunteers, and we need every family to participate in order to make it successful. We hope each family can help volunteer in some way during the year. We need den leaders, activities/outings chair, advancement chair (tracks awards) - anything to lend a hand!  Contact Scott Petrie for more info.

Rocket Launch

Rocket Launch is October 24th, 10:00am at Northwinds Elementary Field.  If you are wanting to participate, you will need to purchase a rocket and an engine pack.  Some kits require you and your child to build the rocket and some come with them preassembled.  If you are not wanting to head to the Scout Shop in Plymouth, Kramers toy and hobby store in Albertville has a wide selection of them.  You can also purchase both items on Amazon.  When purchasing the engine packs, the size of the engine will determine how high the rocket goes into the sky.   Which most kids want it to go as high as it can go but if it is a windy day, the higher it goes, the higher the potential of us not being able to recover the rocket.  Please make sure to take a look at the size of the engine and purchase accordingly.  Please reach out if you have any questions. Don't forget to dress accordingly!

Pack 358 Events/Meetings Postponed

With the current coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) concerns, many are thinking about steps to take to limit the spread of illness, and we want to help protect the health of all scouts and their families so we will be postponing all events and meetings until further notice.
