Welcome !

Welcome to Buffalo, Minnesota Pack 358!

Cub Scouting means "doing."
Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing things.

Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Many of the activities happen right in the den and pack. The most important are the weekly den meetings and the monthly pack meetings.

Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging.

Join our pack anytime and see what fun and adventures await your son.

Pack 358 Earns the 2010 Centennial Quality Unit Award!

The Quality Unit Award is achieved by providing a quality scouting experience to the youth served by your pack.  Among the many criteria are:
  1. Providing a year round program that includes outdoor activities.
Our pack easily meets this requirement with our many camping trips and summer activities.

  2. Recruiting and retaining boys.
This year was a great recruiting year!  We brought more than 30 new scouts into the pack!

  3. Recruiting, Training & Retaining Adult Leaders.
With the many new boys, we have also brought in several new adult volunteers as well as retained the current group of leaders.  Getting the new leaders trained is a top priority and many have already completed their training.  Our pack goal is 100% trained leadership!

  4. Advancement.
We have continued to have a high percentage of our boys advance to the next level.  This is a key indication that the boys are getting something out of the program and are achieving their goals.

  5. Participation in the Council Friends of Scouting drive and Popcorn sales.
Our pack has met our FOS goals and done very well on popcorn sales.

This is a great award and it would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our boys, the pack leadership, and the parents helping our scouts along the way.

Congratulations Pack 358!
